The only problem to my title, I haven't been training. 1 week after the OKC Marathon I found myself with a nasty case of ITBS, so I made an appointment with a orthopedic surgeon to rule everything else out. The Saturday before my appointment, I rolled my ankle and ended up with a grade 2 sprain of the peroneal tendon. I'm still fighting the effects, but my ITBS is gone and I know I have chondromalacia patella. Disney will be my last full for awhile. I'm also no longer running races straight through, I've moved to the Galloway method. I am trying to get back out and on the road but we have had some pretty high heat indexes and well, safety wins out.
I hope to have some good race reports, but we will see!! So I will try to keep up the blog and I will do my best to get back into training!
